Responding to the Climate Crisis with Mangroves Planting
Mangroves contribute to absorbing carbon three times more effectively than tropical forests. In the long run, planting mangroves can help combat the climate crisis in Indonesia. In collaboration with Indika Nature and Maybank Sekuritas, we invited employees to understand the importance of mangroves while participating in mangrove planting on Pramuka Island, Kepulauan Seribu (Thousand Islands), and the Ecotourism Area at Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.
Building a Reading House in Cijayanti Village
Building a reading house in Cijayanti village is a collaboration between BRI Dana Sekuritas and Indorelawan to provide educational facilities for children with limited access to education and learning facilities in Cijayanti Village, West Java. We also provide donation books from donors, school supplies, and educational tools for 200 children as beneficiaries.
Inspiration Session, School Bag Packing & Mural
Fitch Ratings Indonesia collaborated with Indorelawan to organize three Employee Volunteering events on education issues benefiting marginalized children. There are three activities conducted over the course of one year:Inspiration Class and Office Tour for marginalized children, School bag packing for kids in need, and mural painting at RPTRA.
Emina Donate Book
The Emina Donate Book program consists of several activities, including book donation drives for local library, storytelling sessions about dreams and aspirations with children and teenagers, educational sessions on facial health for teenagers, and the provision of sustainable products such as bookshelves and chairs to support activities in local library. This collaborative program has successfully gathered 314 book donations for four literacy communities and reached over 400 children and teenagers in Depok & Sentul (West Java), Malaka & Kupang (East Nusa Tenggara).
B20 Summit Volunteers
B20 or Business 20 is the official G20 dialogue forum with the global business community. This year, Indonesia was chosen as the host of the G20. On November 13-14, 2022, the B20 Summit was held, which served as the culmination of the year-long B20 series. In the preparation and implementation of the Summit, Indorelawan and Pemimpin Indonesia were entrusted as the organizers for volunteer management at the event. We received 1429 volunteer applications and selected 116 volunteers for 4 divisions during the 5-day event.
AMMAN Mineral’s Employee Volunteering Platform
Indorelawan and Hyperjump collaborated to provide the license service platform of Indorelawan.org for the employee volunteering platform of AMMAN Mineral in West Sumbawa. This custom-made platform offers a variety of volunteer activities for AMMAN employees.
